Pritpal Singh murderd in front of the famous Shri Kali Mata Mandir in Patiala, Punjab. Police have solved the incident within 24 hours and arrested the two. They are identified as Sunny and Shubham.
A young Pritpal (19) was stabbed in the street near Mall Road in front of the famous Shri Kali Mata Mandir in Patiala city around 6:30 am on Wednesday.
The knife struck him in the heart and he died at the hospital. A case was registered against the accused on April 6, 2012 at Lahori Gate Police Station, Patiala under Section 302 of the IPC. The accused were residents of House No. 30P, 66 KV Grid Colony and were now living in House No. 3, Street No. 430, Tafajalpura, Patiala. The accused have been identified as Sonu alias Sunny alias Baja and Shubham Kumar alias Sibu son of Vinod Kumar. But the Patiala police, led by IPS Nanak Singh, proved that the accused, no matter how clever, could not escape the long arms of the law. The general public has breathed a sigh of relief after the arrest of these killers, and also thanked SSP Nanak Singh for this noble deed.
Patiala’s SSP Dr. Nanak Singh said that in the case of Pritpal’s murder a special team led by SP City Harpal Singh, DSP City Ashok Sharma and SHO Police Station Lahori Gate investigated it. The investigation team searched the CCTV footage around them and found the two youths. It turned out that Sunny and Shubham had committed the murder.
Police arrested Sunny and Shubham. He said that a quarrel broke out due to a small matter and the accused stabbed him during the quarrel. The knife went into Pritpal Singh’s heart. Previously A case of theft is also registered against Pritpal who was killed.
